Raid Bus FAQ
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: We are happy to give a refund up to 24 hours before the event starts, but after that no refunds will be given. If you’d like to request a refund please e-mail email@example.com.
Q: What should I bring to the event?
A: We recommend that you dress for the appropriate weather, and bring at the very least a USB cord for your device. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring a backup battery just in case. There is usually an AC Port and a USB port on the bus at each seat but just in case do bring your backup battery to be safe.
Q: Can I buy a ticket for more than one-time slot?
A: As long as there are tickets available for a time slot you are welcome to attend as many of the tours as you wish. Many have chosen to do all four because it is 20,000EXP each time you defeat a Legendary (with a Lucky Egg on).
Some passengers did mass-evolutions while traveling between raid stops to maximize their lucky egg while they are riding the bus, lucky eggs are highly recommended.
Q: How do I get a MewTwo invitation?
A: MewTwo invitations in the form of an EX Raid pass have been going out for the last few months but to a very select group of trainers. The “field test” beta period has ended and now Gyms that are inside parks, or at sponsored locations are most likely to give an EX Raid Invite after doing a raid there. You can do any raid at those locations, so you don’t need to do Legendary raids with us to have that chance.
Q: Is this a For-Profit business?
A: Nope. The organizers of this event are the same organizers as the Pokemon GO: SA Facebook community, and many Team Leaders join us from team specific pages as well. We have decided from the beginning to donate 100% of the net profit from our events to charity.
Q: Can we go hit that Tyranitar?
A: Maybe? Our focus is on the current Legendary. Each Legendary only spawns for a certain time frame and once they are gone we don’t know when they’ll be back. So the focus of most raid buses is the current legendary before it disappears (potentially for a long time).
Q: Will there be alcohol on the bus?
A: We will not be providing alcohol to ticket holders but you are more than welcome to bring your own and we will be providing coolers, both on board the bus and in under bus storage, to keep your beer cool (and whatever other drinks that you bring).
PLEASE, NO GLASS BOTTLES ON THE BUS!
